All the rooms have been finished and could be ready within 2 days to welcome guests. However, the public areas will still need about 1 month to be ready.
Bangkok’s Victory Monument (Thai: อนุสาวรีย์ชัยสมรภูมิ, Anusawari Chai Samoraphum) is a well know and large monument in Bangkok, Thailand. Victory Monument is at the center of an traffic circle at the intersection of Phahonyothin Road, Phaya Thai Road, and Ratchawithi Road.
The monument was erected in June 1941 to commemorate the Thai “victory” in the Franco-Thai War, a brief conflict waged against the French colonial authorities in Indo-China, which resulted in Thailand annexing some territories in western Cambodia and northern and southern Laos. These were among the territories which the Kingdom of Siam had been forced to cede to France in 1893 and 1904, and patriotic Thais considered them rightfully to belong to Thailand.
The monument is very western in its design: in this it is in sharp contrast with another prominent monument of Bangkok, the Democracy Monument, which uses indigenous Thai forms and symbols.

True Siam Boutique Hotel Bangkok will be ready for soft-opening on 15th. October 2010 and switch to full operations on 15th. November 2010.
The hotel will offer 65 modern and airy rooms, a truly Thai teakwood restaurant, a garden café and free WiFi intenet access for all guests when booking through our website.
True Siam hotel is in a small Soi (side road) at Phayathai Road just behind the well-known Siam City Hotel, but only a 4 minute walk to Phayathai Sky Train station and offers therefore convenient access to most of Bangkok’s attractions, shopping centres and the central business district. The sky train give also direct access to the new high-speed airport express train.
The soft-opening period does allow guest to experience our new hotel for Thai Baht 900 net ONLY per room per night including oriental breakfast for maximum 2 people.
